Legal Unification through Case Law?
July 12, 2024
Organiser: Martin Löhnig
Place: Institut für Ostrecht, Landshuter Str. 5, Regensburg (Germany)
Time: 21 - 22 November 2024
Those who want to achieve territorial uniformity of law and thus create a
uniform legal area can make use of various instruments. First and
foremost is the instrument of legislation. However, legal unity can also
be created by jurisprudence and legal education. Finally - and this
will be the subject of the conference - legal uniformity can also come
about through case law or even be consciously striven for by creating a
court that is superior to various legal areas.
