Die dritte Jahrestagung des Käte Hamburger Kollegs „Einheit und Vielfalt im Recht“ fragt nach den Ursachen von Rechtsvielfalt.
Welche Gründe lassen sich für die Kleinteiligkeit von Recht in räumlicher, personaler und zeitlicher Hinsicht ausmachen? Spielen soziale und kulturelle Faktoren dabei eine Rolle? Und warum scheitern Versuche, Recht zu vereinheitlichen, so häufig?

 

The third annual conference of the Käte Hamburger Kolleg “Legal Unity and Pluralism” examines the causes of legal plurality.
What reasons can be identified for the fragmentation of law in spatial, personal and temporal terms? Do social and cultural factors play a role? And why do attempts to unify law so often fail?
